I’ve been a big fan of Rodebjer since seeing their clothing over at Lexington Standard in San Francisco. Rodebjer is inspired by the people who do what they want; feminism, human rights, passionate people are a few choice words that can best describe their style. The Spring 2018 show during Stockholm fashion week is nothing short of their ideals. It was beautiful, uplifting, and wildly feminist.
Their focus was to develop a collection to appeal to a diverse group of people; models were of various ages and backgrounds. Carin Rodebjer explained, “(I) wanted a collection to travel in age somehow…“so it began with youth and energy and drive, and then it went into something more sophisticated, mature, earthy at the end, with those fluid shapes and tonal looks.”
I think I’m somewhere between youthful energy and earth tonal adult. I think I always will be.
